Meethai- A taste of Eid, A bite of Tradition

Eid isn’t just a celebration—it’s a feeling, wrapped in the aroma of cardamom, the sweetness of saffron, and the warmth of family. And at the heart of it all? Mithai—the language of joy spoken in sugar, spice, and everything nice.

The word "mithai" comes from the Sanskrit word "mitha", meaning sweet, a testament to the centuries-old tradition of confections crafted to mark moments of happiness. But for me, mithai is more than just a tradition; it’s a story—one deeply personal.

As a child, every Eid morning, my father would bring home an assortment of mithai. It was never just one kind—it was a journey across cultures. Baklava, the golden, honey-drenched pastry from the Ottomans, brought layers of history to our table. Mango lassi, thick and tangy, was the first sip of sweetness on early Eid mornings and the last indulgence after late-night iftars. And then, there was Kashmiri chai—rosy pink, fragrant, and velvety smooth, a sip of Kashmir’s soul in a cup.

These flavors were my childhood, my memories, my Eid. And that’s exactly what I wanted to bring to Crystallia Co.—a chance to share the same experience, to taste the nostalgia, to celebrate together.

So, come join me. Let’s relive the magic of mithai, one bite at a time. ✨
